Family Church’s Brazilian Community presented its annual Easter drama production, which portrays Jesus Christ’s final days in honor of the Christian holiday at its Lakeside Village campus on Easter Sunday.
Directed by residential developers from Ocoee, Paulo and Micheline Guerreiro, and written by Brazilian Community Lead Pastor Lecio Dornas, the play followed Jesus Christ, portrayed by Rodrigo Cartaxo, through pivotal scenes such as the Last Supper, the Road to Calvary, and Jesus’s crucifixion and resurrection.
The production was interwoven with a live band, led by Pastor Douglas Portugal and worship leader Marcela Garcia da Silva, during the church’s weekly Sunday night Portuguese-speaking service and concluded with a short message by Dornas.
